The Oklahoma Sooners are favored to come away with the 2012 BCS national championship, while Alabama is a close second. It's anyone's guess after that, as those two teams will likely be No. 1 and No. 2 when the first polls are released. As we've seen in the past, getting past one of the original top two teams isn't an easy chore, as long as everybody keeps winning.
Much can happen over the next two months before the regular season begins in regards to injuries and suspensions, so it's always a bit risky to wager this early, although that is somewhat counterbalanced by getting better odds when you bet early. On futures-type bets, odds tend to drop a bit on teams receiving money, while those who don't get bet will not always see their odds increase.
We'll look at the early odds in Odds to Win the 2012 BCS Championship located in the Football Betting section of the site.
