Nothing draws the ire of football coaches more than turnovers. Penalties may be a close second, but those can be overcome quite a bit easier than giving the football to the opposition. Even coaches coming off a big win can be found lamenting the fact that their team couldn't hold on to the ball.

Turnovers can also drive bettors a bit batty at times, as they have a direct influence on the outcome of wagers more often that we'd like to see.

But what happens the week after a team is guilty of commiting numerous turnovers has followed a script the past five years and is one that college football bettors should be aware of. That's the focus of this article.
