New Year's Day is no longer the final day of the college football season, but there are still a few decent games on the slate. The most baffling is the Orange Bowl, where Northern Illinois will seek to justify its inclusion in a BCS game. If the Huskies are blown out, it will likely be quite some time before a team from a minor conference is on such a big stage.
