The Super Bowl is known for its commercials and offbeat betting opportunities almost as much as it is known for the game itself. This year is no different, as companies are lining up to spend $4 million for a 30-second commercial and sportsbooks are rolling out multitudes of proposition bets, some of them serious and some of them more on the offbeat side.

Even those without a rooting interest in the game can usually find something worth making a small wager on, ranging from the coin toss to the National Anthem to how times a particular person is shown or a particular name is mentioned on television. We'll look at some of those goofy bets in Offbeat Super Bowl XLVII Wagers located in the Football Betting section of the site.
