A Total Turnaround
Over the course of a baseball season nearly every player will have several hot streaks and several prolonged slumps. That's only natural for a lengthy season that is 162 games long.
Baseball teams are a bit more stable, however, and that stability is the basis for this baseball betting system that concentrates on totals only.
The key is to look for teams that have gone either over or under for three consecutive games and wager the other way. If a team goes over or under the total for a fourth consecutive time, we will buck the trend only once more. If we happen to lose that bet, we will wait for a new string to begin, as there is no prolonged chasing in the system.
The system is almost absurd in its simplicity, but has been a worthwhile tool in the minds of sports bettors for a number of years now. The system isn't going to make bettors rich, but has yielded a small profit over time with no additional handicapping factors. An intelligent baseball handicapper can use the system as an additional factor to their normal baseball handicapping and get a higher percentage of winners.
The system is off to a 9-6 start for the 2008 season and is ideal for those bettors who enjoy a lot of action, as there are usually plays almost every day.
Like every other sports betting system out there, it is best used to supplement your present handicapping techniques, but has enough merit to use it as a stand-alone process, as well.
