Fezzik Wins Leroy's Money Talks Invitational

Las Vegas sports bettor Steve Fezzik captured the 2009 Leroy's Money Talks Invitational after a 4-2-1 weekend. Runner-up Lance Blankenship went 4-3 in the Finals to just miss the $80,000 prize in the winner-take-all contest.

Fezzik was 18-9-1 in the four weeks he made selections in the contest.

The entry fee into the contest was $5,000 and each week two contestants squared-off against each other with the loser being eliminated.

Fezzik joins Ken "The Shrink" Weitzner, Erin Ryning and two-time champion Nick Bogdanovich as winners of the event, with Bogdanovich winning in 2005 and 2007.

The difference in the contest came down to the Titans defeating the Dolphins in overtime. The three-point Tennessee victory gave Fezzik a push, allowing him to squeek by with the title.

Fezzik, last year's Hilton SuperContest winner, is currently in second place in this year's Hilton contest after a bit of a slow start.
