Free Stat Attack College Football Preview
It's that time of year when all of the college football annuals are hitting the stands and those bettors who shy away from baseball are no doubt gearing up for the new football season. Some of the college football magazines are quite good, while others teach you that it's possible to turn money into nothing, as they aren;t worth the paper they're printed on.
One of the annuals I've looked forward to reading the past few years is the put out by Stat Attack Sports. It comes as a PDF file delivered to your inbox and has four pages devoted to each team, giving a quick look at the school, coaches, last year's stats, a write-up page for each school, key retuners and losses, returning starters, the 2011 schedule and more.
There is a list of all the bowl games, projected finishes in each conference, as well as a projected national finish page for all schools.
Even better is the cost, which is absolutely free. Even if you read other annuals, this one is too good to pass up.
Compare its predictions with the others you have, see if both have one or two darkhorses picked higher than most people and for those of you making your own power ratings - the more informed choices you have when making your initial numbers, the better off you'll be.
You can't go wrong and it's a great way to pass some time and learn a few things while you're waiting for the season to begin.
Simply e-mail Whitey from Stat Attack at whitey@statattacksports.com and ask him to send you the college football preview. It s as simple as that.
