2008 Champs Sports Bowl Preview
The Champs Sports Bowl between Florida State and Wisconsin is another game that is fairly tough to handicap, as the Badgers have been a bit unpredictable this season and it's difficult to tell which team will show up.
Florida State is favored by six and the total is 52.
My numbers give the nod to Florida State, but Wisconsin falls into my system of taking the better rushing team as an underdog, which cancels each other out.
With that said, I'm going to switch my attention to the total and take another game to fall under the total. I think the Badgers will be able to run the ball to an extent, while Florida State will also have some success on the ground.
Neither quarterback is likely to put much fear into the opposition, so there will likely be several big plays due to defensive backs playing up a little closer than usual, but don't believe there will be enough to send the game over 52.
