The Arizona Cardinals had barely scored the winning touchdown against the Green Bay Packers before the lines were posted for games of Jan. 16-17, 2010.

The first game on Saturday will see Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals traveling to face Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans is a 7-point favorite as of Sunday night, Jan. 10. The total on the game is a lofty 56.5.

The Indianapolis Colts are 6.5-point favorites over Baltimore and the total is 44.5. There are several sportsbooks that have the Colts 7-point favorites.

On Sunday, Brett Favre's Minnesota Vikings are 2.5-point favorites over Dallas with a total of 46.5. Sportsbooks with a 2.5-point line are asking Vikings backers to risk $120 to win $100, as opposed to the traditional $11-to-win-$10. Dallas backers taking the 2.5 points can bet at even money.

There are several books that have the Vikings as 3-point favorites. Those betting Dallas +3 are being asked to risk $13 to win $10, while Viking bettors giving the three points can risk $100 to win $110.

The final game will be the Jets at San Diego and the Chargers are favored by 9 with a total of 42.5.

The first three games on the schedule will be played in domes, making weather no concern, while San Diego should have its expected nice weather.
