A Look at Sportsbook Casinos

You know you shouldn't do it, but many people just can't help playing a few hands of blackjack or a little video poker when they go online to check the latest odds. Nearly every online sportsbook as an accompanying casino to with it, and we'll look at some of the casinos here.

This list is far from all-inclusive and new casinos will be added as time goes on. This is essentially just the starting point.

Intertops

Intertops actually has two separate casinos, its "Green" casino, which is the original casino, and its newly launched "Red" casino.

The Green casino is powered by Microgaming software and Microgaming provides some of the best online gaming around. There are dozens of games exclusive to Microgaming and they have a loyal following.

The problem here is that Microgaming doesn't allow players from 13 U.S. states (llinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin, and Utah), which effectively prohibited residents of those states from playing at Intertops.

In response, Intertops recently started its Red casino, which welcomes all U.S. players, with the exception of those in Kentucky, although the software comes from Real Time Gaming, as opposed to Microgaming and to be honest, isn't quite as good.

Still, the Red casino isn't a bad choice for video poker players or players who don't mind if they have the latest in video slots.

There is the peace of mind in knowing that your money is secure with one of the very first online sportsbooks around.

Intertops' payouts are independently monitored, and giving players anoth reason for confidence.

Sportsbook

I'm still hearing that sportsbook.com has been doing a good job on payouts, which is good news, as the company remains one of the biggest around due to its large marketing program.

As far as casinos go, Sportsbook has made improvements lately, and now offers some progressive jackpot video slots, 3D slots, along with the usual assortment of table games.

There aren't many video poker games to choose from, but the book has been making an effort to improve its overall casino experience, so you can't fault them there.

Credit Wagering

Credit Wagering doesn't offer the bells and whistles of other online casinos, but do have a fair amount of video poker options, along with the usual assortment of table games.

The payouts don't appear to be any worse than random odds would dictate, so players shouldn't hesitate to dabble around the casino.

There are just a few choices for slot players, but a solid assortment of casino games, as well as the previously mentioned video poker choices.

We'll look to add other sportsbooks' casinos in the near future.
