Stat Attack Baseball Program for 2011
You can specify the starting pitcher for one, or both teams, and other factors, such as home/away, vs. right-handed pitchers or left-handed pitchers, as an underdog or favorite, games where the total is in certain ranges, and plenty more.
If you want to know how the Los Angeles Dodgers have performed as a road underdog against left-handed pitchers with Craig Billingsley on the mound, Stat Attack will tell you.
The searches you can perform are almost endless. If you want to know how the Yankees perform as a large home favorite when they start a left-handed pitcher, Stat Attack Baseball will quickly let you know.
Naturally, the more common searches of how a pitcher has performed against a certain team or how a particular team does against right-handed starters or left-handed starters are a breeze, as well.
Not only do you see the results when you do a search, you also get the number of times the games went over or under the total, as well as the average runs for and against in that situation.
The second upgrade comes in the instructions. While users of previous Stat Attack programs will have no problem picking things right up, newcomers to the program may have some questions and the folks at Stat Attack have done their best to answer them before they are asked and to give some pointers on using the software.
Stat Attack Gold
The Gold version of the baseball program will allow users to do all of the searches that are available with the regular version, but also take into consideration what is happening with the current year.
The current season feature is a huge step forward and opens a whole new avenues of possibilities for the use of Stat Attack programs. It's exciting to think of some of the different uses of the program.
TRSG
Anybody who reads this site on a regular basis knows that I firmly believe the most important pitching statistic is Team Record in Games Started, or TRGS .
Too many bettors base their wagers on a starting pitcher's win-loss record without bothering to realize that our bets aren't determined only in games where the starting pitcher gets a decision. Our wagers also count in games when our starter gets a no decision, which makes TRGS a much more accurate stat when evaluating how a starting pitcher has performed.
