With March Madness officially set to begin on Thursday, it's time to try and pick a champion. Unlike some previous years, when you could safely pick several teams with an excellent chance to reach the Final Four, there are no such teams this year, as even North Carolina isn't unbeatable when healthy.
From a futures betting standpoint, or for those of you in pools, it may pay off to look away from the top seeds this year when trying to determine the eventual winner.
