We're going to repeat this blog entry, which was first published in December, as a reminder that Jim Barnes is back and his website contains daily sports forecasts in all the major sports. Barnes influenced a number of today's sports bettors and his predictions should be required reading for anybody who wagers on sports.
When it comes to legends in the sports handicapping field, Jim Barnes would no doubt be right at the top of that list. The author of the respected Journal of Handicapping, Barnes was one of the trend-setters in the handicapping field and countless sports bettors use Barnes' ideas on a consistent basis. The man has probably forgotten more about sports betting than the majority of today's self-proclaimed experts have ever known.
Barnes was never one to seek the limelight and was content to stay in the background, which was why he was called "America's greatest kept secret" by none other than Mort Olshan, the legendary founder of the Gold Sheet.
When somebody with Barnes' experience agrees to impart some of his knowledge about the sports betting scene, bettors would be wise to pay attention and learn from somebody who has "been there and done that."
