Ryan Miller will be representing the United States at next month's Olympic Games, but in the meantime he's been doing a pretty good job stopping pucks for the Buffalo Sabres. Buffalo is in first place in the Northeast and is one of three teams in the NHL not to have allowed 100 goals.
Much of Buffalo's success has to be given to Miller, who is in the top three of the four major goalie categories.
The Sabres host Toronto tonight and the Maple Leafs lead the league in goals allowed. It's no surprise Buffalo is close to a 2-to-1 favorite.
In the NBA, the Lakers at Portland and Cleveland at Denver headline the schedule, while just one ranked college basketball team is in action tonight, No. 24 Washington, which is a road underdog to Arizona.
