Even though neither the NBA or NHL titles will be decided today, what takes place this evening will go a long ways is determining the eventual champions.
In Los Angeles, the Celtics need to show that the first game was an aberration. The Lakers gained control of the game towards the end of the second quarter and were never challenged the rest of the way.
Bettors are pretty much split on the game, as the Lakers held 56 percent of the wagers on Saturday, but late action is now coming in on the Celtics to even things out. The total has climbed to 191 at most sports books after being at 190 or 190.5.
In the NHL, the Flyers have gotten right back into the hunt with two victories in Philadelphia and now take to the road once again. Philadelphia lost a pair of close games in the Windy City to begin the series and needs to win one on the road to take the series.
Chicago is favored by -180 and the total is floating between 5.5 or 6 depending on sportsbook. The Blackhawks are attracting 55 percent of the bets, as the high price is probably scaring some bettors away.
The NHL and NBA games are on television at the same time, and the Cardinals and the Brewers are also being televised at 8 p.m. EST, giving bettors plenty of options.
Today's play is up and is at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
