2011 Eastern Conference Finals

The Chicago Bulls may be the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, but that hasn't impressed sportsbooks or sports bettors, as the Miami Heat are solid favorites to advance to the NBA Finals.

At The Greek the Heat are -190 to win the series, while the Chicago Bulls are +165.

NOTE: If you're new to the world of sports betting, I would suggest reading Understanding Money Lines first, as the odds will be easier to understand.

Those lines are pretty much universal at all sportsbooks as of Saturday evening.

For Game 1, the Bulls are -2 and the total is 180.5. If Miami wins the first game, the line should be about the same for the second game, while if the Bulls win, I'd expect to see the Bulls -1 or even for the second game.

With the Bulls being -2 at home, the Heat are probably going to be four to five point favorites in Miami, although that may change depending on the outcome of the first two games. The total will also be dependent on what transpires the first two games.

Those looking for a series wager may want to consider the Bulls at the generous odds. There is always the possibility of buying a bit back on the Heat if Chicago can take the first game.

The public will no doubt be on Miami given all the hype the Heat have created during the season, which means you're definitely getting the best of the odds on Chicago.
