2009 Playbook Football Handicapper's Yearbook

2009 Playbook Football Handicapper's Yearbook

About.com Rating 4.5

By Allen Moody, About.com

Mark Lawrence has delivered once again with a solid effort. His 2009 Playbook Football Handicapper's Yearbook is a worthwhile investment for football bettors, as it covers both NCAA and NFL teams.

Bettors who place a lot of emphasis on trends will be sure to like Playbook's "Good, Bad & Ugly," for each team.

The Yearbook is designed for bettors, as opposed to those looking for an extensive season preview of each college and pro team. There is very little written about each team, with the primary focus on stats and previous results, which go back 10 years for each team and include totals for the NFL.

Good Value

Playbook's Yearbook isn't the cheapest of the football annuals, but provides good bang for the buck at a price of $9.95, especially when considering college and pro football are combined.

There are cheaper annuals out there, but most are either for college football or pro football and not combined.

You can never have too much information entering a new football season and Playbook's Football Handicapper's Yearbook is a good place to start.
