First of all, I have a quick confession to make. Ever since I was introduced to Stat Attack's new "week after" feature, I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this program. Now that the wait is over, all I can say is that it was certainly worth it.

2010 Stat Attack for the NFL is the latest release from the folks at Stat Attack Sports and takes sports betting software to a whole new level. The week after feature is worth its weight in gold and opens up countless new avenues for NFL bettors to consider before placing a wager.

Program Basics

The 2010 NFL version of Stat Attack has all of the features that made previous versions a pleasure to operate. Users can perform numerous searches to see how teams have fared against other teams, conferences or divisions; to see how teams have performed in various roles, such as home underdog or home favorites; as well as look to see how all teams in the league have performed in different situations.

A user wanting to know how the New York Jets have performed as a small home favorite against NFC can quickly find out the answer, just as a user can quickly see how all teams have performed as small home favorites against teams from the opposite conference.

This year's program is the easiest to use yet, as the people at Stat Attack are consistently working to improve the ease of use of the program and making the interface more simple to use.

The program's database now contains 25 years worth of results, so bettors can look for short-term trends or long-term trends depending on their personal preference.

Bettors can factor in location, division or conference games, point spreads or totals, playing surface, weather and a whole lot more.

As I've mentioned before, there is no "correct" way of using any of the Stat Attack programs. It's up to the individual user to decide which trends and angles are of importance, but Stat Attack makes it easy and gives plenty of options.

The Week After Feature

Obviously, the week after feature is brand new and the possibilities are unlimited. What the week after feature does is let users search to see how teams have performed the week after a particular occurrence.

If you want to know how the Patriots have performed against the spread over the past 10 seasons after having -3 turnovers, Stat Attack will let you know.

Bettors can decide to look at such factors as days since the last game, turnover margin, time of possession, playing surface, passing or rushing yards and total yards.

Naturally, there will be plenty of strong team trends that develop out of the week after feature, just as there are likely to be some interesting league-wide developments. While I've stated on numerous occasions, my personal preference is to look for league-wide trends and angles, there is plenty of merit to performing individual team searches to see if anything worthwhile develops. Again, there is no correct or incorrect way of using any of the Stat Attack programs.

Support

Getting help for running any software program is often overlooked, but in case help is ever needed, Stat Attack users can feel confident that they will get the best support available. You don't have to send an e-mail to the company and wait for a response, although you can do so if you choose.

Those not wanting to use e-mail can call (479) 750-0817 and speak to an actual person, something you will not get from every handicapping program you buy.

The people at Stat Attack take a lot of pride in their products and will do anything they can to make your experience with the programs as enjoyable as possible.

Summary

If I could rate this program higher than 5 Stars I certainly would, but our About.com ratings only go to 5 Stars. I'm not exaggerating when I say this program is one of the biggest breakthroughs in NFL betting to occur in a number of years.

Just as remarkable is the fact that Stat Attack did not raise its prices, even with the new week after feature, which is worth far more than the purchase price of the program. The program is a steal for $49.95, as you can easily pay more for some programs and not get a fraction of what Stat Attack does.

Anybody serious about showing a profit for the 2010 NFL season should own a copy of Stat Attack. The program was designed to help you make money and I have no doubt that it will do exactly that.

Go to www.statattacksports.com and download the demo copy of the NFL program to see for yourself all that the program can do. It will make you wonder how you ever bet the NFL without it.
